Greetings Fellow Senators, friends and guests to our site,
It is time to set our minds to "Aspire.., Achieve..., Adjust..., and Repeat!"
We, the N.C. JCI Senate are already used to achieving what we aspire to, but with this new Fiscal Senate Year, I am challenging each of us to deliberately set forth to ...
Aspire - to obtainable goals to assist our Jaycee Chapters
Achieve - the goals in which we have set. (BOTH personally and to our Jaycee Brethren)
Adjust - two things..
- Adjust the thought process, realize it is NOT always best to do things the way we used to do them. (these are different times)
- Adjust the process itself, IF it is not working the way we began, don't be afraid to adjust the approach.
- As stated by Clint Eastwood’s character, Marine Sergeant Thomas Highway (played by Eastwood) in the film, Heartbreak Ridge. “...You adapt. You overcome. You improvise. Let’s move!”
Repeat! - the things that work and share them with EVERYONE!. This assures that they too, have success in their endeavors!
In forthcoming emails, I will be posting goals that I would like the NC JCI Senate to aspire to this year. To achieve these aspirations, I would like each of us to do ONE thing... Adjust our mentality one step UP from where it currently is. If we TRULY step up one level from our current success (thanks to the legacy of our past leaders) then there is NO WAY, success can escape us!
Fellow Senators, may you be Blessed beyond measure, may your goals be ever fulfilled and may this year be yet another successful year in our history!
